  2. The product features are specific to each card type and benefits/features. The new card would override all /any benefit that may exist your Credit Card prior to upgrade. Click here to view the Schedule of charges on the upgraded card.
  3. Validity of the offer is for 45 days from the date of this mailer.
  4. Limit enhancement and Card upgrade would be subject to customer consent by clicking on the I confirm button provided in the e-mail.
  5. Limit Enhancement and Card upgrade would be effective 45 days from the date of receipt of consent of the customer.
  6. HDFC Bank reserves the right to withdraw the offer of card upgrade if the card account is not in regular status at the time of card upgrade.
  7. HDFC Bank cannot be held responsible for financial/non-financial obligation caused due to withdrawal of offer or non-implementation of card upgrade.
  8. Card upgrade offer is subject to customer fulfilling all the necessary and sufficient criteria as decided by the bank at the time of offer fulfillment.
  9. HDFC Bank reserves the right to withdraw the card upgrade offered to the customer at any time as deemed right by the bank.
  10. Nothing contained herein shall prejudice or affect the terms and conditions of the Cardmember Agreement. The words and expressions used herein shall have the same meaning as in the Cardmember Agreement. The terms of this scheme shall be in addition to and not in derogation of the terms contained in the Cardmember Agreement.
  11. Any disputes arising out of this programme shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of competent courts in Chennai irrespective of whether courts in other areas have concurrent or similar jurisdiction. The existence of a dispute, if any, shall not constitute a claim against HDFC Bank Credit Cards division.
  12. Customer takes the responsibility to communicate the new card number to all third parties who have been given standing instructions for direct debit on your existing card number for any service availed there on.
  13. Customer takes the responsibility to destroy the existing card along with existing add-on/supplementary cards (if any) on receipt of the upgraded card.
  14. The proposed card upgrade programme would be governed by the existing terms & conditions applicable for the current card held by the customer and the terms and conditions mentioned here are over and above the existing terms and conditions.
  15. Credit card once upgraded with prior customer consent cannot be re-instated to the old credit card number.
  16. Once upgraded, transactions done on the old credit card would be reflecting in the new card statement.
  17. HDFC Bank reserves the right to revoke/stop this facility to any cardholder without any prior intimation if the bank believes that the continued use of this facility is not in the interest of the bank.
  18. Card features mentioned are governed by Cardmember Agreement and are as per the usage guide.
