Who is eligible to avail of this facility? This service is exclusive to HDFC Bank account holders. This facility is currently available across India. i.e for policies issued by LIC through its branches at all the locations mentioned above.
How does one register for this facility? Any HDFC BANK savings account holder (either or survivor mandatory in case of joint account) and sole proprietor current account holder can register for this facility by filling up a form available across HDFC BANK branches. (To open an account click here)
In case you already hold an HDFC BANK savings or current account you may download the form, fill in the relevant details and deposit at any of our branches. You will receive confirmation of registration from HDFC BANK.
You can pay premiums of a maximum of 5 (five) life insurance policies. You or any of your near and dear ones could hold these policies. Please ensure that the correct details of the policy are submitted in the form.
Will I get a receipt from the bank? LIC will send the receipt of payment received as per normal process. Your HDFC BANK account statement will also contain the details of the insurance premium paid.
