Account validation entries are posted to your bank account on the 2nd or 3rd working day after you complete the one-time registration for online transfers. We e-mail you on the 3rd working day outlining details of the account validation process, subsequent to which you can enter the amount on the website. We request you to wait for our e-mail with details and then make entries on the website.

How do I make an online transfer from the United States?
As a first-time user of Quickremit,
you have to complete a one-time registration process, post that you are required
to add your US bank account details, which are ascertained through a verification
process that takes 3 working days. You can book a remittance after successful
verification of your account.
You will be notified by e-mail once your account is activated. To check the
verification status, log in to Quickremit

For one-time registration, you need to provide the following details:

Funds are transferred from your US bank account via Automated Clearing House
(ACH) mechanism.
In the US, the ACH network is a reliable and efficient nationwide electronic
funds transfer system governed by the National Automated Clearing House Association's
operating rules that authorize inter-bank clearing of electronic payments

What are the account validation and activation processes?
The account validation process is undertaken to prevent any misuse of your
account. It ensures that only the account holder can use this facility. The
validation and activation processes involve the following steps:

A nominal amount in cents
is debited and credited to your account by HDFC Bank. |

Quickremit intimates you by e-mail that the test debit and credit amount has been
initiated to your account. |
|
You must refer to your
Bank Statement for the exact amount that is debited and credited. |
|
When you log on to Quickremit,
your transaction status will show, "Click to Verify".You
need to enter the exact amount in the space provided. |

If the details match the
actual transactions carried out by us, your account is activated. |

What type of US bank accounts can be used for online transfers?
For online transfers, you can use an individual Checking Account or an individual
Savings Account with a US bank affiliated to the ACH network.

When is money transferred from my bank account?
Generally, money is transferred from your bank account to us on the 2nd
or 3rd working day from the date of booking your remittance. You have
to ensure that your account has sufficient funds for the transfer to
take place. All holidays - weekends and public holidays - in India and
the US are excluded while calculating working days.

Why do I see "Money in Clearing" on the Online Tracker when my account has already been debited?
Though it is a Direct Debit transaction, we do not receive the credit immediately and hence the status may read as "Funds in Clearing". This status notification changes as soon as we receive the money. However, there is no delay in sending your remittance to the recipient in India.

What is a Customer Initiated Payment (CIP)?
Customer Initiated Payment (CIP) is a fully online mode of sending money from your bank account in the United Kingdom by using your bank's Internet Banking service.

How do I make an online transfer from the UK?
After filling the transaction details on Quickremit, access your account via Internet Banking and transfer the remittance amount to us through the Bankers Automated Clearing Service (BACS) option.
You will also need to provide the 'Internet Banking Trace Number' of your transaction to Quickremit. You can enter this number either while booking your transaction or much later through the Online Tracker facility.
The Internet Banking Trace Number is compulsory to process the transaction.

Is it necessary for me or my beneficiary to have an account with HDFC Bank?
No. It is not required by you or your beneficiary to have an account with HDFC Bank using Quickremit. All you need to have is an account with any of the UK bank.

On initiating a Funds transfer through your bank account you will be provided with an 'Internet Banking Trace Number'. You need to enter this number for your transaction on Quickremit.

How do I make an online wire transfer from the EUROLAND?
After initiating a transaction on Quickremit, you need to take a printout of the instructions page (providing information about our Nostro Account Details) provided on the last leg of the transaction booking. You need to initiate a local wire transfer to our Nostro Account held with Deutsche Bank, Germany. Please instruct your bank to use MT103 Payment option while sending money through Wire Transfer.
